Summary of three Articles:
Children see the SMART board and they get excited. They are more apt to participate and interact. Teachers like the board because of its easy accessibility and its various tools. Teacher’s main complaint is that it has frequent technical difficulties and can interfere with their lesson plans. The IWB has become popular over the last decade. There is, however, a lack of studies of the IWB being used in a classroom. Most surveys have been done from the perspective of students.\

Teachers are able to access the internet and quickly switch between programs on the board. They can highlight and write right on the boards. Children want to come up and write an answer. It is easy and mess free. Presentations are easier to interact with and make teaching fun.
